Municipal cash registers: TSE obligation also applies here

You are here:

The installation of a technical safety equipment (short: TSE) is a legal obligation. This applies not only to retailers and restaurateurs, but also to cities, counties and municipalities. With our SAP AddOn Receipt4S® in the Lite variant, we have developed a convenient tool for SAP environments especially for this area of application.

The KassenSichV protects against manipulation of POS data. This is a desirable goal, but its practical implementation still causes a lot of headaches here and there. The integration of a TSE, compliance with the DSFinV-K guidelines and, last but not least, the question of a high-performance data retrieval in the event of an audit are points that need to be thought through.

With our SAP AddOn we were able to Receipt4S®which serves as a central entry point for managing, auditing and archiving POS data, has already gained experience with many well-known German retailers from the food, textile and furniture industries. The goal of developing a solution that is KassenSichV-ready and can be conveniently used in financial accounting was successfully achieved. Within the scope of the further development of our AddOn, Receipt4S® is thanks to Fiori also convenient to use on the go. With the "little brother" of our SAP AddOn - Receipt4S® Lite - we have expanded our customer base to include waste management companies and public administrations that bring their very own requirements.

Cash and credit card payments in the administration

It turns out that there are more and more areas that fall under the KassenSichV that are rarely thought of at first when it comes to cash registers. So must also Disposer deal with the new guidelines, because: Cash sales at the scale must also be carried out in an audit-proof manner. Now these cash sales have little in common with the high POS data volume in retail. Especially for such cases Consult-SK GmbH offers Receipt4S® in a Lite version incl. TSE.

The same challenge exists in public administration: cash transactions in road traffic offices, in citizen services and similar areas, fall under the KassenSichV. Administrations that have SAP in use can work with Receipt4S® Lite has access to a proven solution that has a number of functions on board (excerpt):

  • Transfer and management of audit-relevant cash register data
  • TSE integration with SD cash/immediate sales process (VA01) and cash journal
  • Problem-free integration (without TSE) of your existing cash registers incl. software
  • DSFinV-K Export
  • Provision of audit data for Z1, Z2 and Z3 access (e.g. DSFinV-K, SAF-T export)
